Mercadona works with Portuguese suppliers from various fish markets along the Portuguese coast, from North to South of the country and in the Azores.

We went to the Algarve coast, where the sardines from the supplier António Viegas Guerreiro arrive, a family-owned company responsible for fishing, preparing, and sending the fish to Mercadona supermarkets in order to maintain maximum freshness throughout the process, meeting the most demanding quality standards.
